Any updates to this site from now on will be notified on the main page for RMK World. I'm afraid I have some bad news.
It's been a long long time since an update. Frankly, I haven't had any time to draw or even work on the site until recently. My enlistment with the Air Force has been keeping me insanely busy and stressed, but is also coming to a close, which means I've been trying to figure out what to do next with life. Top that off with college I'm doing concurrently, and I simply have no time.
With the fact that school, work, and life are ticking away, it's dawned on me that I need to assemble my art portfolio with what time I do have left before I'm potentially unemployed. Anything I could wish to turn into a career down the immediate road would have to involve my own creations, not a fan work.
I love Yamcha, Elsewhere and the story I have yet to tell. The tale of Yunomi, Barracks and the gang along with the Four Sacred Schools and Anshin and Heiwa still needs to be shown! And someday it will be finished. But unfortunately it won't be soon. If someday I'm famous and have clout, or just get employed somewhere that gets the license from Toei/Bird Studios/Shonen Jump, then I'd love to do Elsewhere again, and heck, re-do it so the art is better. But as it stands, it has to stop here.
Thank you to all of you who have been so supportive over these long, strung out years. Your appreciation for Yamcha and Elsewhere hasn't gone unnoticed, as silent as I have been in correspondence. Please forgive me if I didn't respond to each and every one of you who reached out to say you enjoy my work.
I hope that my work in the future can fascinate you as much as I have here. Thank you for your support, and I wish you all a very fond farewell.
Yamcha rules.
Respectfully,
RMK
